Hi, my name's Dr Warrick Bishop. I'm a cardiologist and welcome to my Healthy Heart Minute.
This minute is a little different. It's about the thin threads, the small twists and turns in the road of life that we just never predict and how amazing things can happen.
We know that sometimes saving a life can just be luck. Being in the right place at the right time. They're being a defibrillator nearby. They're being someone who knows how to save a life, someone who's done CPR training. These are thin threads that can impact lives and therefore families and even communities.
I've got a podcast attached to this video where I interview Angela Peris, a nurse with a deep passion for helping people. But her journey started years ago with an experience along those lines. You may wish to check it out. It is a great story.
