Do You Want to Improve Your Heart’s Health and Reduce Your Risk of Suffering a Heart Attack?

I believe that we can prevent heart attack. We can put in place strategies to reduce risk; we can literally plan to change your future. I call it Healthy Heart Network.

Hi, Warrick Bishop here, and welcome to the Healthy Heart Network Monthly Live Show. Thanks so much for tuning in, and if you're not watching this live, that's absolutely cool, you'll get a chance to catch up with it later.

As with the monthly healthy heart network live shows, what I try to do is cover a patient case, or a patient story. I try to share a bit of education, and I try to answer a patient question that I've had recently, which I hope that you will find intersting, and hope that it will relate to you.

So today, the patient story is about a man who is young and had a heart attack. The teaching that I'm going to share today actually follows straight on from that, and I would like to share with you the things that I think about when I find a patient who is at high risk of heart attack.

And lastly, someone asked me, "What is the perfect blood pressure?" I would like to share with you some of my thoughts around that, because it is a really, really important space.

Show Notes:

  • Heart attack at a young age
  • Screening for high risk
  • What's ideal blood pressure?
