Hi, my name's Dr Warrick Bishop and I'd like to share with you one of the things that upsets me and frustrates me almost more than anything else. And that's when patients just don't seek medical attention when they should, because they don't want to be a nuisance. They don't want to be a bother, it's in the middle of the night and they think they'll get in the way.

But the truth is your life can be saved. If you do seek that medical attention when you need it, not put it aside, I've put together a story below something that truly happened to me. It was a friend who called me in the middle of the night with funny pains in their chest. I said, "Mate, you've got to go to the hospital." They did and within 20 minutes of arriving at the hospital, they arrested twice and their life was saved.
